16.02.2017 — 11.06.2017
Location: The State Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val

Moscow Design Museum is a partner of the State Tretyakov Gallery in the exhibition project "The Thaw: Looking to the Future." The project is part of a large-scale festival "Thaw", which brought together several leading museums and cultural venues of Moscow.

The exhibition is a single installation with a variety of artifacts integrated: paintings and graphic works, sculptures, household items, design objects, fragments of films and documentary footage. The exhibition area is designed around a few thematic sections showing the most important phenomena of the era.

Moscow Design Museum displayed posters for Soviet and foreign movies from its collection. Their author is a well-known graphic artist Miron Lukyanov.
